Six Month Brace – Cosmetic Clear Braces in Stoke-on-Trent

A Six Month Brace is our most popular clear brace option. Straight teeth in 6 months!

Six Month Brace is the latest technique that allows ultra-clear braces to gently straighten teeth in an average time of only six months. The technology works by focusing on the teeth that show when you smile and does not attempt to make significant bite changes, instead focusing on the core areas that allow your dentist to comfortably straighten your teeth and transform your smile. As a leading provider of this treatment, we have treated hundreds of cases and we are confident we offer the most affordable prices against our local competitors in Stoke-On-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Six Month Brace cosmetic braces uses clear ceramic brackets and tooth coloured wires, which makes this a very discrete option. We can correct crookedness, spacing, overbites, underbites, overjets with the brace in a short period of time.

As part of our brace package, a free set of retainers are provided at the end of treatment and you will also receive a free Teeth Whitening kit.

We have straightened hundreds of patient’s teeth in Stoke-On-Trent with this technique and this is by far our most popular brace.

Do I need to wear metal train track braces?

No. With the six month brace the wires and brackets are white (tooth –coloured) brackets and so they are barley visible. People will notice if they are stood close to you but from a distance they wont even tell that you are wearing braces.

How does the Six Month Brace work?

Six Month cosmetic brace works by having ultra-clear bracket attachments glued onto the front of your teeth and a wire is tied to this. Unlike traditional braces, we start off with extremely flexible wires, which moves your teeth gently and the process is repeated monthly until the teeth are straight. During each appointment, we make minor adjustments to the brace to create more movement.

We are able to straighten your teeth in such a short timescale because traditionally we would remove teeth if there is crowding. Spaces created from removing teeth usually take up to 1-2 years to fully close. However with the Six Month Smiles technique, we perform Interproximal Reduction (IPR) by filing the edges of your teeth lightly to create just enough room for them to move into.

Like any orthodontic treatment, for the first few days it will feel uncomfortable as you become acclimatised to the brace. It may be advisable to take some mild pain-killers first few days.

Does it really take 6 months?

The Six Month Brace may not be suitable for everyone and moost cases take on average 6 months. Depending on how crooked or spaced your teeth are, the treatment can vary between 3-9 months.

Are the braces noticeable?

Unlike metal braces, you will not be walking with a mouth full of metal. We fit clear braces and the wires are white plastic coated too!

Will I need retainers after the brace has been removed?

Teeth are constantly moving so in order to maintain the straightness, we would fit a retainer immediately after treatment. You will have a set of retainers after the brace has been removed to keep the teeth straight. The retainers will need to be worn for a lifetime to keep them permanently straight.

It is your responsibility to ensure the retainer is worn according to our instructions.
